Solar Panel Maintenance, Cleaning & Repair

Dirty panels, tripped strings and failing inverters quietly cost you money every day. Our service technicians clean, test and repair solar systems of every make and installer — and show you the results in numbers.

Warning signs

Eight signs your solar system needs attention

Solar systems rarely fail all at once. They drift. If you recognise any of these, a diagnostic visit will usually pay for itself in recovered generation.

Lower generation than last year

Same season, same weather, fewer units on your meter or app.

Inverter error codes or beeping

Isolation, grid or temperature faults that keep coming back.

Inverter switching off at midday

Often overheating or over-voltage on the grid side.

Visible dust, droppings or moss

Soiling that sits on the glass and blocks sunlight.

Brown marks or hot spots on panels

Possible cell damage that reduces output and raises risk.

Breakers tripping

Faulty cables, moisture ingress or failing protection devices.

Batteries draining early

Declining capacity or incorrect charge settings.

Monitoring app offline

No data means no warning when production drops.

Maintenance plans

Choose the level of care your system needs

Every plan includes a written visit report and production review. Visit frequency is tailored to how dusty your site is, the roof angle and the size of the system — we will recommend the right fit after an initial inspection.

For small home systems

Essential

Keeps a straightforward rooftop system clean and safe with the basics covered.

Most homes & small businesses

Standard

Our most chosen plan, combining regular cleaning with a full annual electrical health check.

Large & commercial systems

Complete

Comprehensive preventive care for systems where every percent of output matters.

Panel cleaning

Cleaning that protects the glass and the warranty

Panel glass has an anti-reflective coating that scratches easily. Pressure washers, detergents and stiff brushes can void warranties and permanently reduce output. Our technicians use soft rotating or hand brushes and purified water, work early or late in the day when panels are cool, and follow safe roof-access practice.

Every cleaning visit includes a quick health inspection: loose clamps, damaged cables, cracked glass and signs of animal nesting under the array are recorded and photographed for you.

Fault repair

Repairs for every part of the system, whoever installed it

Our repair team works on systems of every brand and age. We diagnose first, explain what we found in plain language and give you a fixed price before carrying out the work.

How we diagnose

Measured, not guessed: our four-step diagnostic visit

1

Review the history

We read inverter logs and monitoring data to see when and how output changed.

2

Inspect and test

Visual inspection, then insulation resistance, open-circuit voltage and string current tests.

3

Pinpoint the cause

Thermal imaging and IV-curve checks isolate faulty modules, connectors or cables.

4

Report and repair

You receive findings with photos and a fixed repair price; most repairs are completed the same day.

Questions, answered

Maintenance & repair questions

What owners ask us before booking a service or repair visit.

Most sites benefit from cleaning every two to three months. Dusty locations, flat or low-tilt arrays and roofs near trees or birds may need more. We set the frequency after reviewing your production data.

You can rinse panels from the ground with a soft brush and clean water if it is safe to do so. Avoid climbing roofs, pressure washers, detergents and abrasive tools — they can cause injury, scratch the glass and void warranties.

Yes. We service and repair systems of all brands and installers. The first step is a diagnostic visit so we understand the system before recommending any work.

Our target is to diagnose reported faults within 48 hours for systems we maintain, and as soon as scheduling allows for new customers. Plan holders receive priority booking.

We use compatible, manufacturer-approved parts and document every repair. Where a component is still under warranty, we help you lodge the claim with the manufacturer.

A visual inspection, electrical safety tests, string performance checks, inverter log review and a written report comparing actual generation with what your system should be producing.
