The terms that apply when you use our website and when we survey, install, maintain or repair your solar system.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of sunshinemend.com and the solar installation, maintenance, cleaning, diagnostic, repair, battery and inverter services provided by SunShine Mend. By using our website or accepting a quotation, you agree to these terms. Specific written quotations or service agreements take priority where they differ from these general terms.
Information on this website is provided for general guidance about solar energy and our services. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or copy its content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Quotations are based on information available at the time of survey, including roof condition, shading, electrical installation and component prices. Unless stated otherwise, quotations are valid for 30 days. Yield and savings estimates are projections based on typical conditions and are not guarantees of future generation or savings.
A contract is formed when you accept a written quotation and we confirm the booking. Any deposit required will be stated on the quotation. We will schedule work after receiving the deposit and any approvals that are needed.
We will carry out work with reasonable skill and care, using trained personnel, suitable equipment and components that meet relevant standards. We will protect your property during work, keep you informed of progress and leave work areas tidy.
If we discover conditions that could not reasonably be identified during the survey — for example concealed roof damage, unsafe existing wiring or structural weakness — we will explain the issue and agree any change in scope or price with you before continuing.
Payment terms are set out in your quotation or invoice. Ownership of supplied equipment passes to you on full payment. We may pause work or withhold commissioning documents if payments are overdue, after giving you notice.
Panels, inverters, batteries and other components are covered by their manufacturers’ warranties, which we register for you. We also provide a workmanship warranty on our installation work for the period stated in your quotation. Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorised alterations, extreme weather events, pests, lack of maintenance or work carried out by others.
Maintenance plans run for the term stated in your plan agreement and include the visits and services listed there. Additional repairs, parts and out-of-scope work are quoted separately. Either party may end a plan in accordance with the notice period in the agreement.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income or anticipated savings, and our total liability in connection with any job is limited to the price paid for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Cancellations and refunds are handled under our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Website content, designs, drawings, reports and documents we produce remain our intellectual property. You may use project documents for operating, maintaining, insuring and selling your property and system.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable where SunShine Mend is registered to do business. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern quickly and informally.
Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@sunshinemend.com or raised through our contact page.
